Norwegian Dream

July 24th, 2010 I will be setting sail on the Pride of America around the islands of Hawaii with Norwegian Cruiseline. I've finally got my household to commit to our first family vacation. Now, I'm letting anyone and everyone know about this exciting cruise in the hopes that I can get a group of people that I know to go. Below is where you will find the itinerary and prices. Please join in to make this vacation a truely exciting adventure.

The Chopping Block

Due to past falls from dance for 16 years and rollerblading for 4 years, I tore my TFCC's in both of my wrists. I set up the dates to have the surgeries, my right on 9-4-09 and my left on 9-17-09. Both wrists had torn tissue, but the right had more than expected. Trying to battle with my physical therapist twice a week tires me incredibly, and the pain ensues everytime I twist my wrist the wrong way or put pressure on it. On the positive note, the left seems to be better without the therapy so none is needed.

My Ideal Marrying Man

For all those girls that don't know exactly what they want in a man or are uncertain of the definite qualities, I have an idea! Throughout my personal relationships, I have made a list of things I would like to have in a man. I have created this list not only to find my perfect soulmate, but to provide other women insight on picking and choosing certain ideals for their true love. By writing this on my blog, it will give me a greater chance in finding what I'm looking for. NOTE TO SELF: This "perfect" individual will not have all of the traits that I am looking for, but there are certain "must haves" that will be mentioned first and foremost.

September Sweeps

Can you believe it; summer's over. Now we can look forward to all of the shows reappearing in this wonderful, but rainy month.
Some of my personal favorites... Grey's Anatomy simply never gets boring or tiring. Every episode leaves you literally on the edge of whatever you're sitting on. The Mentalist is making its 2nd debut, and each episode is quirky and magical. Then there is Medium which recently switched to CBS (bad move on NBC). Its mysterious and devious ways get me each and every show (I love the idea of dreaming up the past and future). Gossip Girls is having its way with me. Each coniving and decieving episode is like sexy ear nibbling and back scratching wrapped up into one nicely wrapped package with a card saying, "This one's on me" (those guys definitly give me a ring). Two and a Half Men always cracks me up with its raunchy comedy. And, Desperate Housewives... Last season wasn't so hot for me, but I'll watch to see what happens. I mean, what else are you gonna do on a Sunday night?
The Good Wife is new to the line-up. It has serious potential due to all of those terrible government/presidential men who are cheating on their wifes lately. I'm personally wanting to know what's on their mind too. Also, Cougar Town is a hot little number with Courtney Cox. The new "cougar" generation has developed this new hit. We will see if it does as good or even better than Cox's show, Dirt.
I have to mention So You Think You Can Dance. I know, it has already started, but I want to thank Nigel Lythgoe for realizing that this show derserves a spot in the Fall Line-up. These choreographers are phenomenal; but, that's a whole other blog. ; )

Collette's Very Own Pandora's Box

I recently just downloaded the New App for my G1, Pandora. I must say, it had its way with me. It had me at "design your personalized radio station, your music, your station". For the ones that haven't checked this out yet; it's brilliant. Just type in one of your favorite artists or songs and bam! While listening to that artist or song, you have the choice to make a thumbs up or down on other artists or songs playing that were similiar to the one you chose. http://www.pandora.com/people/collettet is where I'm at! What am I listening to you ask? My very own Night of The Dancing Flame by Roisin Murphy Radio. Check it out; you might get a kick out of it like I did. ; )
